DOTHAN, AL… Ronnie Hugh Creel, a resident of Dothan, Alabama, passed away Tuesday afternoon, November 7, 2023, at a Dothan hospital. He was 71.

          Memorial services will be held 6:30 P.M. Friday, November 10, 2023, at Wright Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel with Reverend George Bryan officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:30 until 6:30 P.M. prior to the service. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.

          Mr. Creel was born in Abbeville, Alabama to the late Shelby H. Creel and Mary Ila Skeen Creel. He had lived in Abbeville, Alabama most of his life before moving to Dothan, Alabama twenty-two years ago. Ronnie was a carpenter by trade and helped build nuclear plants and several other plants around the United States.

          Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, Randall Lance Creel; and his siblings, Oneal Creel, Homer Creel, David Creel, Billy Creel, Linda Creel, and Sue Creel.

          Leaving to cherish his memories are his wife, Joyce Sapp Creel; his brothers, Joe Creel (Diane) and Grady Creel (Virginia); his sister, Lou Ann Watkins; his grandchildren, Sierra Creel, Shelby Minchew, Kelsie Creel, and Kailyn Creel; his great-grandchildren, Jasmine Bryant, Emiliegh Creel, and Hudson Minchew, and his several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
