RICKY L. HATTON
HEADLAND.…Ricky L. Hatton, a resident of Headland, Alabama, passed away Wednesday , January 27, 2021, at Dothan hospital. He was 67.
Graveside services will be held 3:00 P.M. Friday, January 29, 2021, at Gardens of Memory Cemetery with the Reverend Joey Hudspeth officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. All Covid-19 and social distancing guidelines will be in place. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
Ricky was born in Dothan, Alabama, but lived his entire life in Headland, Alabama. He was a 1971 graduate of Headland High School, and a graduate of Wallace College. He was a member of the Balkum Baptist Church. He was retired from the Farley Nuclear Plant.
He was preceded in death by his father; Herman Lee Hatton; his grandparents, J.D. Hatton and Euna Brown Hatton, Dee Edwards, and Beatrice Skipper Edwards.
Leaving to cherish his memories are his son, Brian Lee Hatton of Clearwater, FL; his daughter, Christina Lee Hatton of Newnan, GA; his mother, Betty Edwards Hatton; his brother, Nicky Herman Hatton (Janie); his sisters, Priscilla Hatton Trawick (Chappy), and Sherri Hatton Tew (Michael) all of Newville, AL; his grandchildren, Hannah Marie Hatton and Austin Lee Hatton, both of Clearwater, FL; his nephews, Cory Cannon Trawick (Kelly), Dusty Dee Trawick (Tanya) both of Newville, AL, and Shawn Michael Tew (Tristen) of Dothan, AL; his niece, Heather Hatton Key (Chris) of Ridge Spring, SC; his great nieces, Reagan Trawick, Morgan and Taylor Trawick, all of Newville, AL; the mother of his children, Nancy Shaw Hatton of Atlanta, GA.
