PATRICIA FAYE “PATSY” JONES MEADORS

ABBEVILLE… Patricia Faye “Patsy” Jones Meadors, a resident of Abbeville, Alabama passed away Tuesday morning, August 13, 2024, at her home. She was 76.

 Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday, August 16, 2024, at Brackney Funeral Service Chapel in Crestview, Florida with Pastor Fred Jordan officiating. A eulogy will be given by her niece, Mendy Crenshaw. Burial will follow in the Almarante Cemetery in Laurel Hill, Florida. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. prior to the service. Local arrangements are being handled by Wright Funeral Home & Crematory. 

 Mrs. Meadors was born in Valparaiso, Florida to the late James Donald Jones and Myrlene Newton Jones. She earned her degree in Computer Science from Pensacola Junior College. She had previously lived in Gulf Breeze, Florida where she worked at Midway Water Systems and also worked at the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Florida in the military barber shop. She moved to Abbeville, Alabama twenty years ago. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Crestview, Florida. 

 Leaving to cherish her memories is her husband, Charles Meadors; her son, Sean Meadors of Abbeville, AL; her sisters, Sandra Wise of Dothan, AL and Pam Hawkes of Pace, FL; her brother, Donnie Jones (Lisa); and her several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

 Serving as active pallbearers will be Byron Wise, Wesley Jones, Hunter Wise, Joseph Teston, Colby Teston, and Chandler Davis.
