MARY LOUISE STEVENSON SANDERS

ABBEVILLE… Mary Louise Stevenson Sanders, a resident of Abbeville, Alabama, passed away Monday morning, December 23, 2024, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. She was 51.

 Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 27, 2024 at Wright Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel with Reverend Tony Kingsley officiating. Burial will follow in the Abbeville Memorial East. Viewing will be from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. prior to the service. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.

 Mrs. Sanders was born in Barbour County to Milton Bouyer and the late Bessie Mae Smith Sanders. She was a 1991 graduate of Abbeville High School. After high school she completed her education at Sparks Campus – Wallace Community College in Eufaula with a associates degree in Home Healthcare. She worked at West-Point Pepperell in Abbeville, Alabama before starting her own home health care business. She was an active member of the Jackson Chapel COGIC in Abbeville, Alabama. 

 Leaving to cherish her memories is her husband, Ike Sanders; her daughters, Kiara Stevenson and Amber Stevenson; her father, Milton Bouyer; her sisters, Gloria D. Culver and Bessie Cochran; her granddaughter, Treasure Davis; her God-Daughter, Ayana Wright; her special nephew, Terrance Culver (Reginald); her nephews, Jerry Culver, Jr., Alto Culver, Jim Cochran, and Jimmy Cochran; her nieces, Crystal Richards (Michael) and Jennifer Cochran; and her special friends, Clara Kingsley and Linda Scott. 

 Serving as active pallbearers will be her nephews.
