DOTHAN, AL… Liza Christine Davis, a resident of Dothan, Alabama, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021, in a Dothan hospital. She was 33.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Selma Baptist Church with Reverend Dwight Deal officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. prior to the service. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Davis was born in Dothan, Alabama, to Liz Mathis and the late Charles “Carter” Mathis. She lived most of her life in Taylor, Alabama before moving to Dothan, Alabama just a few years ago. She was a 2006 Graduate of Rehobeth High School. She was a member of the Selma Baptist Church.
Leaving to cherish her memories is her husband, Tommy E. Davis, II; her daughters, Danielle Mathis, Julie Davis, and Aubree Davis; her mother, Liz Mathis; her brother, Charles Mathis (Chelsea); and her maternal grandmother, Mary Holton; her father-in-law, Tommy E. Davis; her aunts, uncles, and many cousins.
