LINDA N. JENKINS
MIDLAND CITY.Linda N. Jenkins, a resident of Henry County Health & Rehab, formerly of Midland City, passed away Thursday afternoon, January 02, 2020 at a Dothan hospital. She was 72.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, January 6, 2020, at the Wright Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel, with Reverend Danny Henderson and Reverend Troy West officiating. A eulogy will be given by her sister, Debra Kowal. Burial will follow in the Midland City Cemetery. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. Monday, before the service, at the Wright Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel.
Ms. Jenkins was born in Dale County to the late John C. Jenkins and Rosie Nell Walding Jenkins and lived there most of her lifetime before her health moved her in 2010, to the Ozark Health and Rehabilitation Center and recently to the Henry County Health and Rehabilitation. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Assembly of God Church in Grimes. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Dan Jenkins and James Jenkins.
Leaving to cherish her memories are her daughters, Pamela Dansby of Ft. Knox, Kentucky and Misty Cordell (Kenneth) of Radcliff, Kentucky; her sisters, Virginia Cunningham of Midland City, Billie Ann Senn of Tyler, Texas, Sonya Senn (Mack) of Crestview, Florida, Debra Kowal (Jeffrey) of Birmingham; her brothers, Bobby Jenkins (Margaret) of Clopton, David Jenkins (Karen) of Echo, and Mitchell Jenkins (Loretta) of Snellville, Georgia; her grandchildren, Shelden Forshee, Sydney Lamberth, Megan Wood, Corey Wood, and Lexie Wood; her great-grandchildren, Charlie Hayden Forshee, Ryland Sage Forshee, and Laikynn Elise Forshee.
