ASHFORD.Kristy Kayla Butler, a resident of Ashford, passed away Thursday afternoon, December 5, 2019 at a Dothan hospital. She was 29.
Kristys family has honored her wishes with a simple cremation. There are no services planned at this time.
Ms. Butler was born in Dothan, Alabama but moved to Arkansas at early age and lived most her of her lifetime there and in Thomasville, Alabama before moving to Ashford a little over a year ago. Kristy was a very kind hearted person who loved all animals. She preceded in death by her father, Harris S. Butler, Jr., her paternal grandparents, Harris S. Butler Sr. and Donis Butler, her maternal grandfather, David (Bud) Gates.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Roshay McCaskey; her son, Jacobi Zayne McCaskey; her mother, Deborah Anderson; her maternal grandmother, Shelby Gates; her sisters, Tina Hurtado and Lexi Gates; her brother, Chad Butler (Danielle); her nephews, Aaron Hurtado and Dalton Butler; her nieces, Raygan Butler and Amberle Butler; and several cousins.
