JOHN FRED (ZEKE) LINDSEY
HALEBURG, AL… John Fred (Zeke) Lindsey, a resident of Haleburg, Alabama, passed away Thursday morning, February 10, 2022, at Henry County Health and Rehab Facility. He was 83.
Graveside service will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Haleburg Cemetery with Reverend Don Adams and Reverend Henry Fullington officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Lindsey was born in Ozark, Alabama to the late Henry Sylvester Lindsey and Beunah Money Grubbs. He was engaged in farming most of his life. He was also a carpenter by trade.
Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Virginia Adkinson Lindsey; his sisters; Phyllis Lindsey, Susan Lindsey Kujath; and his brother, Charles Lindsey.
Leaving to cherish his memories are his daughter, Karen Scott (Wayne) of Abbeville, AL; his son, Timothy Lindsey of Denison, TX; his step-son, John William Adkinson (Ellen) of Lizella, GA; his sister-in-law, Martha Parmer of Shorterville, AL; his brother-in-law, Robert Adkinson of Headland, AL; his grandchildren, Leigh Tucker (James), Dusty Lindsey, Ashleigh Weems (Jason), Allison Lindsay; and his five great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to thank the faculty and staff for the love and care shown to Mr. Lindsey over the years of his stay at Henry County Health & Rehab Facility.
