JOANN WALKER BRYAN

DOTHAN… JoAnn Walker Bryan, a resident of Dothan, Alabama, passed away Friday evening, May 10, 2024, at her home. She was 87.

          Graveside services were held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at Union Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory was in charge of the arrangements.

          Mrs. Bryan went to her eternal rest on May 10, 2024. She is in Heaven now, as she was of lifelong Baptist faith, who had a personal relationship with God. Faith was the basis of her being. JoAnn was a woman of many talents. Professionally, she was an accountant all of her life. Her integrity and honesty were beyond reproach. Personally, she loved life. JoAnn loved cats and dogs as children, and fiercely loved her family. She was an excellent cook, a wonderful gardener and flower arranger, and loved reading and doing crossword puzzles. She enjoyed retirement with her husband, William Cleveland Bryan. 

          She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe Lee Walker and Euna Lee Walker; her husband, Cleveland Bryan; her beloved brother, James Melvin Walker.

          She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Ann Bryan Still (Steven); her niece Yvonne Dunlap, and her many friends and caretakers. She was lucky to have Ms. Sylvia Trejo as a bonus daughter. She was also blessed to end the journey with Mrs. Ashley Willis of SouthernCare Hospice.
