ASHFORD, AL… Jacqueline Leigh Mills, a resident of Ashford, Alabama, passed away Thursday night, June 8, 2023, at her home. She was 44.

           A Memorial Service is scheduled for 4:30 pm, Sunday, September 10, 2023, at New Seasons Fellowship in Headland, Alabama.  Pastors Sean and Shirah Morgan will be officiating.  A gathering for friends and family will be held following the service.  Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

          Ms. Mills was born in Dothan, Alabama to Allen Curtis Mills & Jacqueline Denise Sanders Mills. She lived most of her life in Cowarts before moving to Ashford about five years ago. She was a waitress at Larry’s BBQ in Dothan, Alabama.

         She was preceded in death by her sister, Beth Mills; her maternal grandfather, Robert Sanders; and her paternal grandfather, Allen A. Mills.

          Leaving to cherish her memories are her children, Zachary Mills, Kyle Mills, Akasha Barbrow, and Sophie Barbrow; her parents, Allen Curtis & Jacqueline Denise Mills; her brother, Benjamin Mills (Amy Farrar); her maternal grandmother, Dot Sanders; her paternal grandmother, Louise Hamm Mills; and her fiancé, Justin Dean.
