SHORTERVILLE.…James Paul McDermott, a resident of Shorterville, Alabama, passed away Friday morning, January 1, 2020, at his home. He was 68.
No services are scheduled at this time.
Mr. McDermott was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late James McDermott and Martha Klinger McDermott. He was a 1970 Graduate of Boyertown High School. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He and his wife started their own glass etching business, (Perkiomen Glass Studio), and retired from the business after 25 years. After retirement they settle in Shorterville, Alabama.
Along with his parents, Jim was preceded in death by a sister, Marsha Seale.
Leaving to cherish his memories are his wife, Linda Honeschuck, and his son Michael Patrick McDermott.
