KINSEY.…Reverend Gary Jerome Harbert, a resident of Kinsey, Alabama, passed away Thursday afternoon, December 31, 2020, at a Dothan hospital. He was 70.
No services are scheduled at this time.
The family has requested contributions be made to the Wiregrass Area Food Bank, 382 Twitchell Road, Dothan, Alabama 36303, in honor of Jerome’s memory.
Mr. Harbert was born in Headland, Alabama to the late Curtis Lee Harbert and Elsie B. Wood Harbert. Jerome had served several churches as a pastor. At his time of death, he was the Minister at Rocky Creek Baptist Church, in Marianna, Florida.
Leaving to cherish his memories are his wife, Judy Harbert; his daughters, Gennifer Jo Alexaxander (Joe) of Newville, AL, Gina Mitchell of Jasper, AL; his son, Jay Harbert (Pam) of Newville, AL; his sisters, Faye Nowell, Annette Olsen, Judy Haynes (Bob); his brother, James Harbert (Henri); his six grandchildren; his six great-grandchildren; his lifetime friends Joey Brown and Wyman Gamble.
