EVA MAE DANIELS
ABBEVILLE, AL… Eva Mae Daniels, a resident of Abbeville, Alabama, passed away Sunday, November 7, 2021, at her home. She was 87.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Sunday November 14, 2021 at Wright Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Reverend Tullis Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Springhill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Abbeville, Alabama. The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. Saturday November 13, 2021 at Wright Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel.
Eva “Mae” Daniels was born May 25, 1934 in Abbeville, Alabama to Maggie Lee Johnson Daniels and Mitchell Daniels Sr. She was raised by her loving step mother Mary Alice Curry. She attended Henry County Training School until sixth grade. She has been a life long resident of Abbeville.
Mae professed her faith in Jesus Christ and accepted Him as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She became a member at Springhill Missionary Baptist Church in Abbeville, Alabama where she was a faithful and dedicated servant who truly loved the Lord until she was unable to attend due to her health.
Mae was employed with the city of Abbeville for over thirty years before retiring. She enjoyed her work and met no strangers. She was a loving, hardworking, and compassionate mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her endearing motherly love was expressed to all children that crossed her path.
Mae was preceded in death by her sons George Daniels and Bylli Daniels; brothers Johnny Frank, Horace, and Bennie Daniels; sisters Willie Reece and Johnnie Mag Lewis.
She leaves to cherish her memories to one daughter, Stephanie (Curtis) of Abbeville; one grandson, Andre Kincey (Monacious) of Dothan; one great grandson, Nolan Kincey of Dothan; brothers, Mitchell Daniels Jr. (Lynn) of Abbeville and Roy Daniels of Abbeville; sister, Betty Daniels of Abbeville; sister-in-law Teresa Daniels of Headland; extended family including Elaine Culp (Bob), extended grandchildren, Tristan and Jordan Culp; Henrietta Burns (Jim), Kathy Timmons (Tom), Becky Hartzog; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and special friends.
