DOTHAN, AL…Donny Taber, Jr. a resident of Dothan Alabama, passed away Saturday evening, July 02, 2022, at his residence. He was 64.
Memorial services will be held 3:00 P.M. Sunday July 10, 2022, at Wright Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel. The family will receive friends 2:00 P.M- 3:00 P.M. prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Donny’s memory to Kindred Hospice 2740 Headland Ave, Dothan, AL 36303 or Wiregrass Humane Society 255 Jerry Drive, Dothan, AL 36303.
Donny Taber was born March 22, 1958, to Donald Corliss Taber, Sr. and the late Sylvia Field Casey Taber. He was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts where he attended school. Donny spent a lot of his life in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida as well as Dothan, Alabama. He joined the United States Marine Corps where he proudly served his country for four years. Mr. Taber was employed as a licensed plumber and owned Taber Plumbing, LLC. He had a deep loving passion for family, sobriety, being a mentor, music, photography, conversation, a longing to learn, and building the house of his dreams.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Leaving to cherish his memories are his sisters, Sammy Dougherty, Tracy Bausch, and Ritty Tabuchi; father, Donald Taber, Sr.; brothers in law, Billy Bausch and Jim Dougherty; nieces and nephews, Danni Bausch, Cody Bausch, Eliza Tabuchi, Jimmy Dougherty, and Lucas Dougherty, many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and his special feline companion, Otis.
