BRIAN STEPHEN SMALLEY

HEADLAND, AL… Brian Stephen Smalley, a resident of Headland, Alabama, passed away Saturday morning, November 11, 2023, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was 58 years old.

          No services are planned at this time.

          Mr. Smalley was born in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Zeige Zee and Billie Ann Smalley. He had moved to Headland, Alabama over six years ago. Steve was an Eagle Scout. He was a great Lead Technician with Taylor Power System since 2011 and was heavily relied on by their Mobile Branch. He was very knowledgable about generators, to the point customers and fellow Technicians relied on his skills almost daily. He enjoyed figuring out electrical and electronic issues with the generators. Steve was a huge fan of NASCAR, he enjoyed trains as his father did and he loved electronics.

          Steve leaves his wife of nearly 30 years Carla Renee Jernigan Smalley to cherish his memories.  Also, his daughter, Sarah Stuckey (Lucas); his son, Brian Stephen Smalley, II; his brothers, Ricky Smalley (Marie) and Randy Smalley; his sisters, Kristi Heitzenrator and Patricia Herring (Tim); his sister-in-law, Debi Tabb (Brian); and his several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
