ANTHONY "TONY" CLIFF HELMS
WEBB, AL… Anthony "Tony" Cliff Helms, a resident of Webb, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at Dothan Hospital. He was 58.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 28, 2022, at Wright Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel, with Brother Joel Moncriet officiating. Eulogies will be given by his sister, Sandi Helms Scott and his best friend, David Gentzel. Burial will follow in the Madrid City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. prior to the service. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Helms was born in Dothan, Alabama, but lived his entire life in the Webb, Alabama area. He attended New Freedom Church in Webb, Alabama. He was a long-haul truck driver by trade and always could be recognized by his cross’s he put on his trucks. He loved to fish, and his words “out-fish you”.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dana Sue Bell; and his niece, Allie Helms Lam.
Leaving to cherish his memories is his wife, Linda Helms; his son John-Paul Helms (Megan); his sister, Sandi Helms Scott (Kent); his brothers, Ray Helms (Shannon) and Christopher Helms; his grandson, Jace Helms; and his several nieces and nephews.
Serving as active pallbearers will be David Gentzel, Joel Moncriet, Chris Helms, Austin Smith, Ray Helms, and James Hallford.
